Zebrawood is harvested out of West Africa. Zebrawood has a very distinctive grain pattern of alternating stripes of yellowish tan and dark brown color, hence its name. Zebrawood is relatively difficult to work with because of its coarse grain and texture. The lumber is also hard and heavy. Zebrawood is most often used for that “different look” be it in furniture, paneling or accent pieces.
